Career Moves is a comprehensive career development center. No matter where you are in your career path, we can help. Recent college grads, executives in transition, looking for work, changing careers—we offer career counseling, workshops, networking, and more for jobseekers at all stages of their careers.

Workshop topics include Bootcamp for job Searching; Résumes That Pass the 10-Second Test; Cover Letters That Get You In The Door; Expand Your Reach Through Networking; and more. Workshops are held in downtown Chicago and in Skokie. A list of upcoming workshops.

C.O.R.E. Weekly Schedule (Career Options for Reshaping Employment)

C.O.R.E. is a required interactive 90 minute group session for all clients who have completed an intake through the JVS access number only.   If you have not done so, please call 855.INFO.JVS (855.463.6587) and speak to an intake counselor before attending C.O.R.E.

DO NOT BE LATE! Late arrivals for the C.O.R.E. group will be not be allowed in, no exceptions.

The Career Moves path to success

Career Moves will support you at any stage in your career—from identifying your career path to tuning up your job-search skills or helping you learn effective networking techniques. Fees apply for individual counseling sessions; sliding-scale payment option available based on need.

We start by discussing where you want to go by:
