Each JVS contributor is an investor in our mission. During times of economic distress, our costs rise, while funding often remains flat. An investment in JVS will pay unexpected dividends for you, for a loved one, or for someone in need.
Your donation counts—whatever the amount. It means you are helping to support all of the crucial programs you find on this site and all of the meaningful work that goes on day after day, throughout our area, helping people help themselves to lead better lives.
$500 Provides personalized job counseling and placement services to people with and without disabilities.
$250 Provides at-risk youth with access to tutoring to stay in school or enter a vocational training program.

JVS Endowment Foundation
The JVS Endowment Foundation was created in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago’s Agency Endowment Program, which was established to ensure that JVS and our sister agencies have the necessary resources to meet community needs. All commitments to Agency Endowment Foundations are recognized as gifts to the Jewish Federation’s Centennial Campaign.
Our Endowment Foundation provides income from earned interest to support our work. An endowment offers a unique opportunity to remember a loved one in perpetuity by naming a program that reflects your beliefs and interests.
For information on endowment opportunities, please call our Executive Director at
(312) 673-3401.
Jewish Vocational Service (JVS) is a public charity classified as exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
