The Duman Entrepreneurship Center is funded by an endowment made possible by Louis Duman, a philanthropist and businessman from Highland Park, Illinois. The Duman Center was created in 2001 to support small business owners with training, education, and mentoring and offers entrepreneurship loans of up to $15,000. Read more about Louis Duman here.

Loan Fund

Low-interest small business loans are available to qualified entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs who have a solid business plan, twelve months of realistic cash flow projections, some relevant business experience and generally a 20% equity investment can qualify to receive small business loans. Small business advisors provide practical guidance to help entrepreneurs build the required loan documents.

Business Education for Non-native Speakers

Non-native English speakers learn the fundamentals of business ownership and management while improving their overall literacy skills.

Credit Coaching

From analyzing and repairing a credit report to providing on going budget or credit coaching to meet financial goals, a nationally certified credit expert works one-on-one with entrepreneurs to provide confidential assistance.
