Mr. Kaplan’s background includes 30+ years representing employers by providing counseling, negotiation, drafting and litigation services on all aspects of employment law, including mergers and acquisitions, performance management systems, wrongful termination, reductions-in-force, leaves of absence, union avoidance, grievance/arbitration and occupational safety and health. A former Chair of the Firm’s Employment, Labor & Benefits Practice Group, Mr. Kaplan is also former Chair of the Illinois State Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Section Counsel.
